“I Can Do This”

In March, I was in Provence visiting my friend Sophie. In the car on our way to Avignon from her place in Marseille, a tune came on the radio that I’d never heard before. It Almost Worked by TV Girl. “This kind of sounds like the Drums,” I thought.

It set me off on a bit of a listening craze. A week later, while watching The Drums' performance on KEXP, I thought: “You know what? I’m gonna do something just like that.”

So, I set up my home studio, and by the weekend, this song was finished. Seems that people like it.
